Since 2008, the GearClub has hosted dozens of FIRST LEGO League (FLL) and FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) teams. This year, the Gear Squad FLL team won two top awards at the NM Championship, and when a last minute slot opened up, they received an invitation to the World Championship! In 16 seasons, this is only the second time one of our FLL teams has ever been invited to the World Championship!
This diverse community teams represent a cross-section of elementary and middle school students from across the Albuquerque metro area. The Gear Squad are proud to represent Albuquerque and all of New Mexico at the FIRST World Championship!
